Come meet some of our more misunderstood native wildlife.  Snakes, lizards, turtles and bugs–these critters are often feared by many people simply because their role in the web of life is not understood.  Learn why we should respect them and some simple ways we can provide habitat for them on our lands and how we can work to conserve these wonderful and beautiful animals by interacting with them face to face! Steve is also the founder of the Blue Ride Electric Vehicle Club and will be displaying his all electric Nissan Leaf for everyone interested in driving electric to learn all about. earthshinenature.com

Woods walk and awareness games, Emily Jernigan
Come explore the woods of True Nature Country Fair and discover the bounty that is available to us there! We will nibble wild edibles, search for tracks/animal signs and play lots of games along the way. Emily Jernigan is a lead instructor/environmental educator at Forest Floor Wilderness Programs (ontheforestfloor.org). She has been leading wilderness education programs for children at various camps and events for the last 7 years. She loves the woods and making things with her hands.

Pollinator Power! Michelle Carter
What is pollination and who are the tiny super heroes behind our dinner? Learn how you can help protect our bees, birds, and butterflies. Make and take seed bombs to help beautify our world and feed our precious pollinators.
